Change to urban water restrictions
Good news: The rainfall overnight in the Maitai Dam catchment area has seen the water level rise by an impressive 930mm.
Nelson City Council is now able to move back to Stage Two restrictions in urban areas.
You can now hand water your gardens by hose (one hose at a time).
Thanks for all your efforts so far, but please remember to observe the water restrictions and use water wisely.
