Last minute Xmas Pressie

Bronwyn Reader from Cat Rescue Christchurch

We are down to our last 30 Cat Rescue Calendars for the 2019 year so if you have that crazy cat family member, friend or just someone you want to reward for being an amazing animal advocate, they are available for sale at the Catnap Café on Columbo Street just down from 'the Columbo" in Sydenham.

A great place to drop into and unwind with the serenity of 15 cats and kittens, after doing your last minute Xmas Shopping in town. Not open on Monday and you might want to go to their facebook page and pre book as I am sure they will be super popular next week.

They also have a lot of Cat Rescue made crafts for cats and humans which make one off/unique last minute presents.

Thanks for reading. All profits from above go to vet bills in this buzy kitten and desexing season.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
