5 tips to keep your teeth healthy these holidays

QualityCare Dental Group Ltd

Hello neighbours! we are open normal business hours and for emergencies during the Dec18 - Jan 19 holiday period except for stat days and continue providing gentle dental care for the whole family.

5 tips for Holiday Season Tooth Care:

How Old is Your Brush?
- While everyone’s getting shiny new presents it is time to think about your teeth too. You should be replacing your brush every three to four months!

Don't Rush to Brush:
- "Wait at least 20 minutes after your last snack or glass of wine before brushing your teeth. Our mouths need this time to recover as they get more acidic whilst eating and drinking."
"Brush twice a day for two minutes with a fluoride toothpaste and don't forget to floss!

Drink A Lot of Water
- Provide family and friends with plenty of water to help balance out all of the food and to wash away any sticky, sugary residue that might remain on teeth.

Nooo! Teeth Aren’t Tools
- Using your teeth for opening bottles or opening packages is never a good idea can badly damage your teeth. Use a bottle opener!!

Schedule a Post-Holiday Visit
- One of the things you want to do before the holidays gets into full swing is to schedule your family’s post-holiday dental appointments before your dentist’s calendar is filled up.

Professional dental cleanings are extremely important. In fact, they’re vital for a top-notch oral health or if you’re due for checkup, please schedule an appointment now.

Be safe and have a Merry Christmas and happy New Year!

wooden framing

TM from St Heliers

Hard solid timber used to create wooden framing - free to whoever can use it and pick it up. Some bolted (1.9m x .60), some loose bits. Would love it to be gone.
