North Canterbury community rallies after vandals target Leithfield School pool
Vandals dumped heavy furniture into Leithfield School's newly-refurbished pool just three days after it reopened following a $28,000 refurbishment.
Principal Sharon Marsh says the children were "just gutted" to see the mess when they arrived at school on Tuesday morning.
"We officially opened the pool three days ago, but the weather hasn't really been warm enough to swim until today."
