Big friendly giant and critters created for Hanmer Forest out of former woodland giant
If you go down in the woods near Hanmer today you'll now be greeted by a range of new woodland creatures.
The Hanmer Heritage Forest has been made more appealing for families with the addition of nine new sculptures along the Forest Amble walk, including a big friendly giant, some enormous mushrooms, a falcon, and a dog.
"It has now become a journey of discovery, with the animals and birds and other surprises strategically placed along the walk," Hanmer Heritage Forest Trust president Pauline Bennett says.

Went to New World Christmas Eve brought some groceries and as I went to pay a
