Please note that despite the flushing after the repairs, residents may experience air in the water for some time after the service has been fully restored. The water may have a cloudy appearance (tiny bubbles) however residents should be advised that the water is safe for human consumption and to flush their internal plumbing through an outside tap until it is clear – typically 5 – 10 minutes.

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
