Everdure Stove purchased thru Bunnings

Gazanand from Manurewa

I had purchased a stove and within 6 months we noticed that black marks starting to appear at the base of the hot plates. A friend of mine

came to the house and notice these marks and straight away said he also had the same Problem only worse. I contacted the Everdure agent in NZ and was advised that we did not follow the operating manuals correctly plus large pots should not be used for cooking (first time i have heard of this). Long story being cut short they agreed to replace this instant only but i had to pay for carting and electricians bill. They also said no one else had complained.
Everyone who has bought these and are having similar issues please contact Bunnings and thru them Everdure.. Please send me photos and the name of person who has complained. I feel that all costs incurred should be paid by Everdure. Also all those affected should get their stoves replaced. my email address gaza@mortgagesupply.co.nz

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?

Night-time chipsealing works on SH2

NZ Transport Agency (NZTA)

From 9 to 17 February, stop/go traffic management will be in place on SH2 between McPherson Road and Dimmock Road on multiple nights between 9pm and 5am (Sundays to Thursdays).

During the day, all lanes will be open, but speed restrictions will apply to allow the chipseal to set and to protect vehicles travelling over the newly laid surface.

There may be delays to your journey when travelling through the area. This is weather dependent so check NZTA Journey Planner before you travel.
