Do you flush nappies and wet wipes?
Hi Auckland,
Put down the oil, wet wipes and nappies, because your city has 'fatbergs' on it's hands! Auckland's sewerage system is choking on 'fatbergs' - which are large, smelly solid masses that cause blockages in the wastewater system. Watercare spends about $1 million to remove them each year.
What are your thoughts on this? Do you know what can and can't be flushed, or tipped down the sink? How do you think this smelly problem could be resolved? Let us know in the replies!
