Guess what? Our Gruffalo has won a top award!
Did you take part in last year's Gruffalo Explorer walk? If the answer's yes, you may remember this special creature.
He's just been to Wellington, where he was a winner in the Golden Foot Walking Awards 2018.
Well done Gruffalo for taking out the top prize for a community-led project, which was part of the Breeze Walking Festival. This would not have been possible without the collaboration of St Margaret’s College, Canterbury Playcentre Association, Canterbury Plunket and the Council parks, libraries and recreation teams.
