Looking for 2 bedroom rental

Jannette from Plimmerton

Hi everyone ,
My 30 year old daughter Emma and her 3 year old son Jacob have just moved back to NZ after 10 years in Australia.
They are currently staying at my house in Plimmerton but are looking for a 2 bedroom place anywhere in Porirua and Kapiti Coast as far up to Okati. She can only afford up to $330 a week rent. She has shipped all her furniture over from Australia and it is all currently in storage. There doesn't seem to be much available at the moment at that price range so thought I would try here , in case some locals were doing it privately and not through agents . She is clean , tidy , quiet and respectful.
Her email is emma.godfrey@y7mail.com
Thanks in advance

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
