Summer is here- time to think about what conservation

Maxine Clayton from Watercare

There is no problem with water supply in Auckland but Watercare would still like everyone to think about ways of reducing the amount of water we use and the amount we waste.
Please don't let your hose run wild when watering your garden. Just switching off your tap whilst brushing your teeth saves 4 litres of water.
Rural residents- please check your tank levels and order water well ahead of time.
Bach owners- please leave water conservation information for tenants in bathrooms and kitchens.
There are many water conservation tips on Watercare's website. We also offer a free audit service, in which someone will visit your home and give you a personal assessment on your water consumption and give you ideas about how to use less water- so give us a ring to book a time.

Poll: Should you ask before planting tall shrubs/trees near your property line?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

It may be fine now but in a few years trees can block out light or views for neighbours.
