Future of Lower Hutt's CBD
Hutt City Council is about to start mapping out the possible futures for the CBD and needs your views on how the city centre might look and feel in the future.
We are about to develop a spatial plan that will refresh and update Council's vision for CBD - Making Places. Over the coming months, we will be seeking residents’ views and aspirations for the city centre.
The link below has more information and a link to a survey to find out if residents’ priorities for the CBD have changed since Making Places was developed nearly 10 years ago. The survey closes on 8 December.

Speed limits around NaeNae
Hi Neighbors, Just a heads up, I have just received a $170 fine for driving at 50km on Rata Street Naenae on a SUNDAY Morning. I wrote to NZTA pointing out and sending in a photo of sign stating that it was 30km on school days between those hours, but they said that the whole of Rata Street and some surrounding streets are 30km 24/7 and have been for over a year. Did I miss this been advised by council? Always good to be informed. Merry Christmas to all
