Internet scam call

Debra from Eyrewell Forest

Hi all, I have just received a call from a so-called "Internet Technical Services provider" telling me that I'm having a problem with my Internet router. They wanted to access my Internet in order to fix the problem, when I asked them who they were calling from, they said spark. I told them that I don't get my Internet from spark and they said that they know this, but the spark is the main provider, so I asked them what my address was and they came back with the wrong address, but it was an address in this area. When I told them it was the wrong address she put the phone down on me. So I'm just posting this in order to make people aware that this is a scam and do not give them access to your Internet or anything else for that matter. Regards Debra
