CRR is a non profit organisation. CRR was founded by a concerned individual that rescued an injured bird and discovered that most were euthanised due to a lack of rehabilitation facilities. It is the only Department of Conservation sanctioned raptor rehabilitation shelter in the Canterbury region. At CRR we encourage people who bring birds to us to get involved in the rehabilitation process right through to the release.
