Come and join a friendly bunch of locals every week as we demystify the art of public speaking.

Paekakariki Early Birds Toastmasters
We meet most Wednesday mornings at St Peter's Hall from 6:45am to 08.00am sharp.
You don’t need to commit to coming every week, and you can come down a couple of times to check us out before joining. We really are a friendly mix of Kapiti locals who will not only ensure you gain confidence and skills in public speaking, but will have fun along the way.

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
