Parents coffee group
We will be holding coffee group for parents with new babies at the Paraparaumu Plunket rooms on Dec 1st, 8th and 15th from 10:30am-noon. It's free, morning tea is provided and there will be different people talking about helpful parenting information. Its a great way to meet other people in your location area with little ones. If you have a toddler and a baby that's fine to bring them both along too, there is a little playroom adjoining the lounge room. For more information email kapiti.plunket.committee@gmail.com. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
