First National Collective Hawera

First National Collective is a real estate company evolved from and founded on it's predecessor First National Allied Farmers, who successfully serviced the Taranaki province for over 120 years.

The business was purchased in April 2013 by existing real estate agents Shawn Gibbon and Owen Mills and their wives Pam and Mary.

We have been a member of the New Zealand and Australia wide First National Group since 1999, offering a much broader base of client connections and referrals and the ability to capitalise on the national network while retaining the advantage of local ownership and identity.

Our offices are situated in Stratford, Hawera and New Plymouth and specialise in the marketing of residential, rural, lifestyle and commercial properties, as well as providing rental Property Management services.

The long established rural sales side of the business has for many years performed particularly well, traditionally achieving a market share of 50% or greater of farm sales in Taranaki each year.

About this property
This home sits lovingly on a flat fenced 2023m² section and is accessed down a quiet lane with plenty of parking available and a double sized garage. The vendor has put a lot of thought into gardens that add privacy and charm while a new orchard is waiting to fruit for the new homeowners. A productive vege garden is also in place and there is plenty of room to add more.
Inside has undergone some renovations staying in tune with the character features that make this home special.
With four large bedrooms and an extra room which could be used as a work from home space this property offers families the opportunity to move and grow - keep four bedrooms or create another living room.
The open plan kitchen, dining room and living room are open plan and functional, there is the bonus of another sun room or quiet reading space that captures the afternoon sun perfectly while overlooking the large lawn. Enjoy the space of a large country kitchen with the benefit of a scullery with an extra sink and lots of storage. The bathroom is large with a wet floor shower and a lazy entrance through to one of the large four bedrooms and the laundry is tucked away in the bathroom as well.
The colour palate is neutral and natural timber floors compliment this beautifully.
While there is still room to make your mark on this property the vendor has completed many of the jobs with a wood burner with wetback to the hot water cylinder, gibbing, painting, restoring some of the rooms back to its original floor plan and insulation to keep this home warm and appealing. So much space, so much potential - this will win your heart.
