TikiPride - Community Notice

TikiPride are offering free swimming lessons for up to 40 children, aged 5-12 yrs

Where: Tikipunga High School pool

When: 17-24 January, weekdays 12-1pm, 2 x half-hour sessions.

Who: Experienced Swimming Instructors for Community Leisure Management (CLM) from the Aquatic Centre in Whangarei.

Children can have a maximum of 10 x 1/2 hour lessons.

When you are registering your child/ren let me know which days they are coming (they can come for all 10 days if you wish) and which time slot you prefer - the 12.00-12.30pm time or the 12.30-1.00pm time.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
