A random act of kindness
I want to thank a woman today at the Growers Market. I was trying to buy some strawberries, but must have taken the $20 out of my wallet already, so I only had $5 - not enough. The man was happy to use the eftpos for the needed $10 but he couldn't get it to work, so the woman beside me reached across and said "Here. Have this $10"!!!! Wow I was blown away. How wonderful in this time of bad things happening, that someone completely unknown to me, pays for my strawberries. I hastily gave her the lonely $5. If you are this woman - "Thank you for making my day so much better."

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
