The film night for Thursday 16th October for WFS will be in the Capitaine Bougainville Theatre at Forum North, 7 Rust Ave Whangarei.
At 6pm and 8pm, WFS will screen the Sampler program from the NZ Short Film Festival. This is a package of some of the best short films from NZ and the rest of the world and is ONE NIGHT ONLY. So don't miss it

Enjoy the highlights from this year’s Show Me Shorts (SMS) Film Festival. It's a selection of the most vibrant, fun and imaginative short films from NZ and around the world.
SMS is all about the connections between us. This year's films include stories about a boxing nun, an AI robot, a dedicated teacher and a Palestinian man trying to return home.
There's also some fun with an ambitious dad at a twirling competition and a maniacal ice-cream seller at the beach.
