Me Anga Whakamua - Facing the Future
An inspirational book and multi-media exhibition entitled “Me Anga
Whakamua - Facing the Future” will be launched on Waitangi Day by the
Hihiaua Cultural Centre Trust.
The book, edited by Janet Hetaraka, brings together exquisite photography from Whangārei's Tuia 250 celebrations by Diane Stoppard and the thoughts and aspirations of tangata whenua.
The exhibition, which runs until March 6, includes traditional whakairo, raranga as well as videography, photography, prints, pottery
and jewellery.
What do you think - will you go to the exhibition or buy the book?

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
-
59.3% Yes, supporting people is important!
-
26.2% No, individuals should take responsibility
