We’re celebrating 50 years of Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori next week at Whangārei District Libraries — and you’re invited to be part of it!
This year’s theme is all about collaboration and community:
Tau rourou, taku rourou, ka ora ai te iwi.

Join us at Wānanga Whakatupu Mātauranga, Whangārei Central Library for a week full of vibrant events and cultural connection:

Warrant to arrest: Steven Te Maru Walters

The Team from Northland Police

Police are working to locate Steven Te Maru Walters, who has a warrant for his arrest and is wanted by Police.

Walters, 40, is wanted by Police in relation to breaching his release conditions and is known to frequent the Whangārei area. It’s believed he is actively avoiding Police.
