RIVIERA REVENGE
France, comedy (subtitles), 2024
94 mins, Rated M (strong language)
Cast: André Dussollier, Sabine Azéma

Ex French general François and his wife, Annie have been married for five decades and are enjoying all the perks of retirement.

François is tidying the attic one day, only to find love letters from Annie's secret affair with a man called Boris from 40 years ago.

Does François turn the other cheek and celebrate their 50 years of being together, or does he use his espionage skills to track down Annie's former lover?

Hell-bent on justice, François scours the Côte-d'Azur, determined to confront Boris, even if it means losing what he holds most dear in the process. It’s vengeance but it's French Riviera-style - with stunning backdrops and a whole lot of heart.

" A comedy anchored by two veterans of French cinema who know how to tease out every nuance of love, regret, passion and humour ." - Irresistible magazine

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
