Should there be a ban on heavy truck and trailer units in the city?
A local couple say the number of heavy vehicles travelling inside the city zone is dangerous and compromising the health and safety of residents. Can you relate?
Their home is close to the uncontrolled intersection on Porowini Ave - where there has been three serious accidents inside a five week period including a man on a mobility scooter who was hospitalised for a number of weeks. The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
