Nominations are coming in thick and fast! Are you a gardening superhero or perhaps you know one in your neighbourhood? Tell us why you or someone you know deserves to be our 2017 GARDENA Gardener of the Year. It could be anything... basically if a gardener has inspired you, let us know! Include your name and phone number plus contacts for the nominated gardener, or for a contact person if it's a group.
You can send nominations to 2017 GARDENA Gardener of the Year, NZ Gardener, PO Box 6341, Wellesley St, Auckland. Or enter on our website, nzgardener.co.nz
Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
