Many of our pets are petrified of the loud noises which they are not used to. Some will hide in corners, or even run away going into a total state of shock with not very nice consequences.
Fire works at Guy Fawkes night is bad enough, but I have found for the last many years that people hoard them for their Summer parties, meaning it's on going till February usually, and it's unpredictable what nights they will be used.

Why not just have free public displays and ban the rest.
I am sure the fire department would be very happy about this.

Spare a thought for our animals.
