Please think twice before you buy fire works, which will go on sale shortly.
Many of our pets are petrified of the loud noises which they are not used to. Some will hide in corners, or even run away going into a total state of shock with not very nice consequences.

Fire works at Guy Fawkes night is bad enough, but I have found for the last many years that people hoard them for their Summer parties, meaning it's on going till February usually, and it's unpredictable what nights they will be used.
Why not just have free public displays and ban the rest.
I am sure the fire department would be very happy about this.
Spare a thought for our animals.

Not sure what others have found but this Spring the bee swarms seem larger in size than other years.
The picture is of one on Corks Road that covered 13 frames.
If you see one flying or one in a tree please call me on 0212201518.

The bridge will be closed or partly closed for periods during the work. Sometimes this will affect all traffic (including walkers, vehicles and marine vessels) and sometimes only one group will be affected.
