Northland will move to Alert Level 2 at midnight tonight, Tuesday 19 October.

At Alert Level 2 gatherings are limited to 100 people both indoors and outdoors, schools can reopen, and hospitality venues can operate with extra safety measure. Mask wearing and physical distancing is strongly encouraged.

No community cases of Covid-19 have been detected in Northland for over a week. Last weekend’s Super Saturday vaccination drive saw over 5000 people receive a dose in the region.

Here’s everything you need to know:
• Read the latest at Stuff’s Covid-19 news feed
• Find a vaccination centre near you.
• Keep up to date with locations of interest
