Christmas with Grandad

Colleen Hawkes Reporter from Homed

It's that time of year - we all get a little nostalgic for Christmas' past. My grandad wasn't exactly the Grinch Who Stole Christmas, but he sure wanted it over and done with. Would love to hear your reminisces.

After I picked up the call, a male computer generated voice said something like "hold a few seconds for a few more questions" and then a female computer generated voice began telling me that this was the IRD calling and that a lawsuit had been filed against me for [whatever - I stopped listening at this point and hung up].
The computer generated voices were very high quality as far as that sort of thing goes.
So now some of the scammers don't even use call centres in India any more .... and, incidentally, this is the first time scammers have called my mobile phone. I'm used to them trying it on on the landline.

If you know of a doggie needing a loving home that won't be left alone all day, will be loved to bits, and fits that description, please message me on here or email me on computertraining@outlook.co.nz with your phone number and I will give you a call.
Thanks, Jo
