What do you think of stricter freedom camping rules?
Stuart Nash was in Northland late last week to announced proposed stricter rules for freedom camping - including banning non-self-contained vehicles or making them park in campgrounds only, fines increasing from $200 to $1000, and requirements on rental companies to collect fines. Nash says the rules are about making sure people don't toilet in inappropriate places. What do you think of the proposed new rules? Have you ever been impacted by freedom campers?
Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
