Advisory groups
Any views I express here are my personal views.
COVID19 huge efforts and truckloads of money are going to save businesses.
Advisory groups either local or national work hard to be heard. As a disabled person, I find it sad that these groups are being marginalized.
It is a fact in the next few months NZ and the world's economy are going to collapse. it is going to happen.
I am finding the advisory groups are being spoken to and not listened to. This is across the board in NZ.
Disabled people will die if COVID gets away many know that and need support now moving forward.
These advisory groups either focus on tomorrow or the 20-year plan. What type of mess would businesses be in if we only talked about the 1-day plan or the 20-year plan
Would it not be good to listen to us about current and ongoing issues.
The next two years can be the difference between life and death for many sitting on these groups I include aged advisory groups all over NZ
The media is welcome to contact me to hear my personal views.
Being an active disabled accessibility advocate I would like to offer a monthly article written by myself but contributed to by others.
The leader would be a good place to be heard. Unlike others, I would write about matters affecting the disabled.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
