How are your children coping in lockdown?
Early childhood centres and schools in Northland are ready to have pupils - in small numbers - again but most children are staying at home. How are your children (or grandchildren) coping in the lockdown? What do they miss most? And who is helping them? Do they have teachers like the fabulous Mairtown Kindergarten teacher Anne Bawden who dresses up to read stories?
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
