Low levels of digital literacy among staff is a challenge facing many manufacturing businesses, and strengthening those skills is not only essential to meet rapid technological changes in the workplace, it’s vital to increasing productivity.

“As technology progresses and we move further into Industry 4.0, workers must be upskilled to keep pace with new systems and processes, especially older employees who are not digital natives, but who have invaluable experience in their fields,” says Competenz Sector Manager Jahn Vannisselroy

Competenz has developed a new micro-credential to meet the demands brought about by Industry 4.0.

So is anybody interested in helping our new charity?

Children with disability NZ?

And having the opportunity to learn. I spend a lot of time creating on computers.

This would be voluntary, but a good opportunity to increase your skill base.

I have access to a range of professional software including Canva, Adobe creative cloud, designer. Website software, office 365, and much more but I am only one person.

To help our new charity succeed we want to build our brand.

I would love to see us have a more educational YouTube page.

Does anybody want to start writing children's books?

I think I have the software, we would love books that include disabled children as the feature of the book.

I have a huge amount of abilities and a disability but really the abilities outweigh the disability.

So many ideas so much software so little time.

I have more than one computer and the capacity to teach and motivate.

I start late morning and work late into the night.

This would suit somebody able to learn and wanting to move forward and feel accomplished.

Personally, at the end of each day, I feel I have accomplished many things.

I have a home office not far from the Town Basin in a lovely bush setting ideal for being creative.

The person would work on a computer beside me in my home office and help me help others. a few hours a week, days or evenings.

3 cats and a dog will love to meet new people.

If interested please pm Glen McMillan

Looking to borrow headphones with a microphone for 1 day

Caroline from Kensington

Hi everyone - I'm looking to borrow a set of headphones with a movable microphone for a zoom meeting this week. The microphone can't be an inline one and the headset can't be a gaming one and not blue tooth - so I guess its like the ones telephonists would have used not so long ago.
