Have you ever had trouble with Whangārei hospital's emergency department?

Denise Piper Reporter from Whangārei Leader

The first stocktake of hospital infrastructure shows many intensive care units, operating theatres and emergency departments are in a "poor or very poor" state - including Whangārei Hospital's emergency department, which is only 40 per cent as big as it should be. Have you ever had problems with a long wait time or overcrowding in the emergency department? Share your story below (please write NFP if your comment is not for publication) or contact me directly on denise.piper@stuff.co.nz

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Do you think this ban is reasonable?

noisy dogs

Rob from Central Whangarei

lats get cracking on this topic.
Ignorant, selfish dog "owners" that allow their dogs to bark all bloody night and to hell with neighbors right to reasonable peace and quiet and reluctance of authorities to do anything
