Waitangi Day volunteering opportunity
CBEC Ecosolutions is seeking volunteers to assist the public with recycling at the Official Waitangi Day celebrations on February 6th 2018 – Help out for half the day and spend the other half enjoying the festivities! This is a great opportunity for you or your club or group to give back to the community and help the environment. Volunteers will be provided with lunch money and transport to Waitangi or fuel vouchers. Training and PPE will also be provided. The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
