Missing 'Barbosa'

Peter and Louise from Stanmore Bay

It has been just over 2 weeks since our cat Barbosa went missing from Brian Crescent Stanmore Bay. We are asking anyone between the hours of midnight and 6 am that could have hit him on the 2nd of November, could they please come forward and call us to give us some closure and any other information that they could give us. If there has been any foul play by anyone can you please return Barbosa home? Otherwise Barbosa is a bit of a character. Every street that we have lived on over the last 12 years of his cat life, he has welcomed himself into the neighbours homes. He got trapped 7 years ago in someone's garage and after putting flyers out we found him. We have put flyers out down Sringtime and Brian Crescent with no luck so far. Please can everyone do a thorough look, not a quick look and think like a cat. They will find anywhere under a house or in a box to hide so can you look under your houses and in your thick bushes. If anyone finds him dead or alive you can take him to a local vet as he is microchipped or call us on 021 2222 011 for some closure. We are not giving up hope on him yet because he is the coolest cat out.

We want to know: Are you seeing signs of Auckland's economy improving in your industry or neighbourhood? Whether it's busier shops, new projects kicking off, or just a shift in the mood ...

Denim, but make it one-of-a-kind 💙

The Team from SPCA Auckland - Centres & Op Shops

Not every pair of jeans makes it to the rack... but that doesn’t mean their story ends there. Our talented volunteer Annie has been transforming damaged denim into handcrafted bags, hats and aprons in our Onehunga SPCA Op Shop ✂️🧵

This latest batch even features her own hand-sewn designs, and customers have been loving them, they sell almost as soon as they hit the shelf!

It’s creativity, sustainability and community all stitched together, helping animals in need 🐾
