TO EVERYONE WHO CARES ABOUT ANIMALS
PLEASE HELP THIS SMALL DOG
Does anyone know of a VERY large man who is looking after a small white Bichon dog for his sister?
IF YOU KNOW OF ANYONE WHO LEFT HER DOG IN HER VERY LARGE BROTHERS CARE PLEASE ASK HER TO CONTACT ME OR PLEASE CONTACT ME YOURSELF.
I WITNESSED THE MAN TORMENTING AND HURTING THE LITTLE DOG ON THE GRASS AREA OF OREWA BEACH ALONG FROM THE RSA MONUMENT AREA ON SATURDAY 21 December.
Unfortunately I was holding my own small dog and could not intervene physically.
He threatened that he was going to kill the dog.
He said he was "looking after it " for his sister.
I will be grateful if anyone who knows of a lady who left her Bichon in her LARGE brothers care could contact me please as I would like to inform her of what I saw and urge her not to trust her little dog in his care again.
THAT IS IF THE POOR LITTLE CREATURE IS STILL ALIVE.!
Poll: Should complete designs be shared with the public, or should the community help shape the designs from the start?
The Post recently shared an opinion piece on the Harbour Crossing and why a more democratic approach might be needed 🚗🚲👟
While most decisions sit within the political arena, many organisations—like NZTA—manage long-term projects that go beyond party lines. Politics can sometimes disrupt progress, and the next Harbour Crossing is a big decision that will affect all Aucklanders.
We’d love your thoughts: Should near-complete, shovel-ready designs be shared with the public, or should the community have a hand in shaping the designs from the start?
-
81.6% Community feedback and transparency is needed.
-
18.4% No. This would be impossible in practice.
Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
-
59.3% Yes, supporting people is important!
-
26.2% No, individuals should take responsibility
-
14.5% ... It is complicated
