Moth plant (Death Plant) killing butterflies
This plant is a weed that is rife in the back gardens in Bonita Ave and Stanmore Bay road area. Butterflies get stuck to the flower by its tongue and can't release itself like in the picture. The sap is milky and poisonous. The flowers forms a pod which is filled with thousands of fairy type seeds that spread in the wind. Please check your garden and kill this weed to help stop it spreading.
