Mindfulness Meditation 8 Week Course in Silverdale
When life is unpredictable anxiety, stress and tension are natural responses, unless we know how to create inner safety and inner calm
About this Event
Mindfulness is a very potent way to support yourself and give both body and mind a break from living in the "Red Zone" of stress and overwhelm. It's an antidote of sorts to anxiety, difficulty concentrating, poor health or performance and more.
There are now over 4000 published research articles attesting to the therapeutic benefits of meditation for a wide range of physical and psychological conditions. They also show that it works to complement most forms of medical treatment.
The Course:
This 8 week course offers a thorough grounding in the what, why and how of Mindfulness Based Stillness Meditation (MBSM), an internationally - recognised method developed by leaders in the mindfulness and meditation field. Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
