Trademe today increases fees - from 7.9% to 13% - # no fees move to 4tradeit

Tim from STOREIT4LESS

We just received the following message from trademe today (not a joke):

Trademe:
This is to notify you that we’re making some changes to our fees for sellers.
From 1 March 2020, the maximum success fee for a general item will be increasing from $149 to $249 for sales with a final sales value above $1,886.

This is a substantial selling fee hike from 7.9% to 13%.
I say, spread to word to try 4tradeit.co.nz. This auction and classified selling website is not as fancy and does not have the same deep pockets, but it has no selling fees and will work if enough people give it a go.
