Blossom needs a human to love ๐Ÿ’•

Helen from Red Beach

Need a furry companion?

Blossom a black and white long hair female cat, really needs a loving human to care for her, and love in return. She was abandoned in the Red Beach area, and was trying to survive as best she could,by coming in through our cat door and eating my foster cats food.
I started feeding her, she was very thin, and she is filling out nicely, and is losing her fear of people.
In fact she sleeps on my bed now,and loves to be stroked, petted, and get as close to me as possible! sheโ€™s still nervous when I stand up though.

I donโ€™t know her age, but she is a young cat.
My foster cat is long term, she is extremely nervous, and isnโ€™t happy having another cat around,so I need to find a home ASAP for Blossom.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens arenโ€™t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days โ€” the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, whoโ€™s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
