Watercare reducing water flow for tankers
I am not sure, I believe Watercare's reason for closing water filling stations and reducing the flow rate at others. If it were true that the addition flow from tankers was reducing water pressure to the point that the fire fighters would not be able to have enough pressure to put out fires, how can new subdivisions be allowed adding thousands of homes, if each person uses 227 L (Learn NZ website) per day, with say 3 people per home 10,000 homes around AK = 6.81m L per day?
