Volunteers step up for environment
Dozens of volunteers are doing their bit to improve Devonport-Takapuna's environment. From beach clean-ups, pest and weed control to tree planting, their efforts are making a real difference in the local community. In the past 12 months alone, more than 1500 volunteers from local schools took part in beach clean-up days on the peninsula. Find out more about some of the cool things people are doing in our community.
