Ruth Goodenough from Hibiscus Coast Presbyterian Church

Dr Jonathan Lee is a social and cultural historian and a leading authority on eastern cultures and the history of Afghanistan where he lived and worked for many years. He has a PhD in Religious Studies from Leeds University and has authored of a number of books. Jonathan is a Fellow of both the Royal Asiatic Society and the British Institute of Persian Studies, and formerly a Fellow of the British Institute of Afghan Studies.
Jonathan and his wife attend the Mahurangi Presbyterian Church (Warkworth).
We are privileged to have Jonathan present an objective overview of Muslim belief and practices and how we can connect with our Muslim neighbours.
