Spanish Week
Interested in the Spanish and Latin American language and culture? There are a few activities at the Orewa Library to celebrate the Spanish Week:
Art Exhibition by three Latin American artists from October, Monday 8th to Wednesday 17th.
Poetry and Music - Tuesday16th from 3.30 to 5 pm
The poetry of Nicanor Parra, a Chilean poet, read in Spanish by Rosa Gaete, a Chilean and a local resident and in English by Marissa Oakley a kiwi poet, also a local resident.
Learn Spanish through Song and Dance. Friday 19th 4 to 5 pm.

Orewa Red Cross shop is clearing out the racks for the new Eason, plenty of bargains to be had, this weekend we have Fill a bag for $2. We also have an extensive range of classical cds, just 3 for $2.
