Presentation on Heart Attack, Heart Disease Treatments, and Management

Trent Lash from Heartbeats

ONE IN THREE: Are you ready to beat New Zealand's biggest killer?

More people die of heart disease every year, than any other condition, including ALL cancers combined. Approximately 10,000 people: about 25% under the age of 60 years old.
About a third (3,000 people) die prematurely of heart disease because of lack of knowledge (source: Heart Foundation NZ).

The number of younger people under the age of 50, suffering heart attack and cardiac arrest is growing - heart issues are NOT AND OLD PERSONS DISEASE.

Join Trent Lash, Founder of Heartbeats Charitable Trust, for a myth-busting, potentially life-saving talk on this silent health crisis in NZ.
Walk away with knowledge, practical advice, and understanding on how to protect yourself, your family and whanau.

Hear from a heart event survivor with REAL, LIVED EXPERIENCE.

We want to know: As the world evolves, what skills do you think give a CV the ultimate edge in a robot-filled workplace?

Poll: Should complete designs be shared with the public, or should the community help shape the designs from the start?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Post recently shared an opinion piece on the Harbour Crossing and why a more democratic approach might be needed 🚗🚲👟

While most decisions sit within the political arena, many organisations—like NZTA—manage long-term projects that go beyond party lines. Politics can sometimes disrupt progress, and the next Harbour Crossing is a big decision that will affect all Aucklanders.

We’d love your thoughts: Should near-complete, shovel-ready designs be shared with the public, or should the community have a hand in shaping the designs from the start?
