We are a group of local musicians who meet fortnightly (7pm) to play great music together. New players wanted! Our main band is having its first rehearsal for the year on the 2nd February, open to anyone who wants to come along and try it out.
Clarinet, Flute, Piccolo, Oboe, Saxophone, Bassoon, Trumpet, Trombone, Horn, Baritone, Euphonium, Tuba, String Bass, Cello, Xylophone, Glockenspiel, Timpani, Drums, Misc. Percussion
Players of all levels welcome
- Novice Band (beginners to Grade 3 level)
- Concert Band (Grade 3 and above)

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
