Latest Update on Civil Defence Centre

⚠️ Civil Defence Centre (CDC)

The CDC has relocated and can be now found at the old Harcourts building (4 Commerce Street, Whakatāne). It is now open and will be till 5pm today.

The CDC will provide psychosocial and welfare support services for those both directly and indirectly affected.

Onsite will be Red Cross, Victim Support and other government agencies.

If you have specific concerns for family/whānau or friends, you can use the following channels;

This not only benefits those experiencing cognitive decline but also their families and the wider community.
