Community spirit helps church conversion
Hey neighbours, check out this transformation of Knox Church.
After being used as a factory and then a youth centre, it was in a bit of a state when Andy and Sarah Parker first decided to tackle its restoration.
The Canterbury couple had been looking for a building project that would bring people together but they were overwhelmed by the welcome they received in Reefton. Click here to find out more and see the results of everyone's hard work.
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
