Ashley Church: 150th Anniversary - 7 pm Tuesday 29 June
Hard to believe St Simon and St Jude has made it to 150. Time to celebrate the anniversary of the consecration by Bishop Harper, 29 June 1871. Paul Askin will lead a short interdenominational service in the Church from 7 pm. Guest speakers will outline the key phases of the building's history including its salvage and restoration nearly 50 years ago. Supper will be served afterwards with birthday cake! Entry is free but donations to cover costs will be appreciated. Please Private Message Jeneane Hobby if you want to attend as seating is limited.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
