Canterbury council grants consent for 24-hour petrol station in residential zone
Neighbours of a new 24-hour petrol station in central Rangiora are angry the plans were kept from them for a year.
Construction is now under way at the site, on the corner of Edward and Ashley streets, for what will be the town’s second NPD self-service station.
Yet despite the development being a stone’s throw from several residential properties on both streets, only the two immediate neighbours were considered an affected party. Read more here.
